During a commanding showing, England wrapped up a further win against their opponents, with a number of players producing notable performances during the match.

Starting Eleven

The goalkeeper Was rarely tested to perform during the opening 45 before tested from an opponent's curled attempt. His sliding tackle on Qazim Laci demonstrated excellent reading of the game. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested against the opposition's main danger through their forward. Started through the middle early on then shifted to the flank after Saka entered the fray. 7

John Stones Pushed forward with the ball at his feet, a familiar role in the past. At times seemed hesitant on the ball and the tactic discontinued at half-time. 6

The tall defender A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, per usual, could serve as another option for Stones in defense as opposed to his partner. A loose pass later in the match came close to an opener from Albania. Six

Nico O’Reilly One more confident display from the rising star following his initial appearance against Serbia. A teammate failed to make the opportunity from an exquisite flick behind their defense. The role is firmly his already. 7

The newcomer His maiden beginning in an England shirt. Somewhat loose on the ball however his whipped set-pieces posed a danger. A handy game manager for the coach to call upon versus teams who drop deep. Cautioned for a rash tackle. 6/10

The midfielder Set-pieces from corners and free kicks were dangerous. Enjoyed freedom to drift down the left flank yet found himself offside upon receiving in front of goal. Given a merited substitution after an hour. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high position out wide and also put in dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality but mishit an effort high. Replaced late on for a teammate, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Had England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike well saved from the Albanian keeper. As Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Replaced late in the match. Six

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring 77th and 78th strikes at international level. His first a classic opportunist's goal while the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away away from the opposition. Now 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Found it tough to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass from a teammate but Strakosha kept it out. Rashford produced a bigger effect in his place. Five
