Los Angeles Erupts in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Second World Series Championship
The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe united with local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” the star player remarked through an translator.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the team emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Celebrations began prior to the procession, with supporters lighting flares in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, named the MVP of the championship, commented directly about the win.
