Dear Team—
I know you all just finished your meeting - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Last time I sent you all a note, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this group. You all are some of the most motivated and creative designers we have had the chance to partner with - and we’re excited for that relationship to continue.”
Through your commitment and versatility, especially over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s Project ETHOS playtest was enlightening. It affirmed the potential of a action-packed game but told us we still had refinements needed. It uncovered the need for a sharper vision.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You took the criticism to mind and reimagined Project ETHOS with a renewed goal - one that’s ready to fulfill its promise to our fans.
The trust in this project increases every day. To boost the remarkable advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Director of the team. After a period of talks, Ben comes aboard us on Monday, October 20.
His leadership and experience in the PVP shooter genre is considerable, having spent the last 15 years developing and leading some of the most recognizable franchises in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and more recently, the battle royale hit.
Please join me in welcoming Ben next week. We are all eager to persist seeing the progress of Project ETHOS in the weeks to come.
David
